The main objective of the Parc de la Lékédi is the preservation of biodiversity. The park houses a rehabilitation center for primates. Chimpanzees, gorillas, orphan cercopithecines are rescued throughout Gabon and reintroduced into their natural environment. Two groups of Mandrills from the Franceville Primatology Center have been released and are monitored daily by a team of international researchers. Visit Website.
