More Ways to Help

In addition to making one-time or monthly recurring donations, there are many fun, creative, and important ways that you can help the apes and monkeys of Africa. Please contact us at info@pasa.org to discuss the possibilities.

Share with your friends online
An easy way to let people know about PASA is to follow PASA on Facebook and Twitter. You can spread the word by sharing PASA’s posts and inviting your Facebook friends to follow PASA.

Start a fundraiser and get sponsored!
Ask friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor you in almost any activity, such as climbing a mountain, going on a diet, shaving your head, stopping smoking, or doing a long-distance walk, bike ride, or run. Find out more about this fun way to help!

Ask people to donate for your birthday!
Instead of gathering more presents that you don’t need, why not ask people to rescue great apes instead? This can inspire young people to think about helping others on their birthdays.

Wear PASA merchandise
Show everyone that you’re helping African wildlife by wearing a PASA t-shirt. See the merchandise designs.

Watch what you eat
Animal agriculture is one of the major causes of deforestation, land degradation, and pollution. Palm oil plantations, which have devastated rainforests in orangutan habitat, are now expanding rapidly in Africa. We can all protect wildlife habitat by not eating meat or food made with animal products or unsustainable palm oil.

Put out a donation box where you work
We can send you pictures and text which you can print and put on the box.

Host an event to raise awareness and funds
At your house, you can hold a cocktail party, a barbecue, a tea party, or a wine and cheese reception. More interactive events include a bar night or quiz night at your local pub.

Hold a fundraiser where you work
You can donate one day of profits or a certain percentage to help Africa’s primates. Promote this to attract new customers and raise awareness about PASA.

Remember PASA in your Will
You can create a living legacy that ensures your money will protect apes and monkeys when you no longer need it. Read about the possibilities for Planned Giving.

Shop at Smile.Amazon.com
Shop at Smile.Amazon.com and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the money you spend to protect primates in Africa. Simply click here to choose PASA as your charity on Amazon Smile, then visit smile.amazon.com when you want to shop, and you will help apes and monkeys with every purchase.

Donate veterinary supplies
Can you get veterinary equipment or supplies? If so, we can arrange for the materials to be brought to sanctuaries in Africa. The sanctuaries need all the supplies that are commonly used in veterinary clinics, from suture material to portable x-ray machines, and especially contraceptive implants.

Please contact us at info@pasa.org to discuss these possibilities or any other ideas you may have. We’ll be happy to work with you.
